There's a difference between the American era of segregation, when black people were FORCED to use separate facilities, and this, in which black people are CHOOSING to use a separate facility. It's not racist at all in the context of American society.

Yes. It's called multiculturalism. We're told we have to accept this, and we mostly do. Why wouldn't we? There are whole swathes of the UK where integration doesn't take place, through choice of that culture. It had a hand in the Child Abuse scandals by those Pakistani men. A survey done earlier this year found that about two-thirds of Americans believe that racism is a major problem in American society.

I'm not saying that the majority of white Americans are racist, but I am saying that so many still are that it creates a problem routinely.

I've met a good many white racists and have been related to a few of them.

Immigration means that we are all living in a multicultural society here in the UK. No matter where you go. City, countryside, it's all the same. But human nature can't be changed, no matter how many rules you put in place. Each culture will gravitate towards their own. But when you start having areas that are no go zones for others, then you've got a problem. So by creating an exclusive no blacks/no whites set up, you're asking for trouble. It causes resentment. And it's not morally right. Gather amongst your own, sure. But don't say You can't come here because this is ours. That's taking a whole step backwards.

Let's turn this around. I spent a good deal of my working life being subjected to sexism and misogynistic treatment from men. I was groped. I suffered derogatory remarks in the work place aimed at my being female. I was propositioned. Made to feel extremely uncomfortable and threatened. It was pretty much the norm right up until the late 90s. My mum was sacked for being pregnant with me. This was common. Females have had a fight for equality with men for centuries. So it's pretty condescending to say we have no idea about discrimination. I certainly do. No man can truly understand that either. What it's like to feel the way some men made you feel in places you should feel safe in. But changes didn't come from women working in all female environments, or excluding men in the work place. It got changed because women fought all the harder for equality and a zero tolerance outlook, and strove harder to make their voices heard.
