You Are Stealing Our Future: Greta Thunberg, 15, Condemns the World’s Inaction on Climate Change

Fifteen-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg addressed the U.N. plenary last night in Katowice, Poland, condemning global inaction in the face of catastrophic climate change.

I now await all of the Koch bros.--funded anti-climate and anti-science propagandists and their simpering lily-livered shills (stand tall, Tommy Monk and SmellyBum'..) to flood the airwaves with their pathetic rhetoric...

Hypocritically claiming that school age children should be kept in school, and not be seen on the world stage, protesting against what big businesses and their political stooges are doing to this planets future..

Sadly, Tommy will be long dead and buried before the damage he and his like created has been repaired.
The shame is, he laughs at the crisis man made climate change is causing.

The world has to start recognising this is a real threat for the future generations. It should be something they universally all join together to help prevent a disaster from happenning.

Until recently in the scheme of things the majority of people , not the rich or even the comfortably off, lived a life of conservation, we re - used items, we repaired items - machine and clothes, most people had few outfits to choose from, usually a best outfit for special occasions, church/chapel, weddings and funerals, a set of clothes for work and maybe a set for everyday wear we conserved energy because we couldn't afford to do otherwise financially, we hardly travelled from our immediate area, we worked in close proximity to where we lived, then suddenly it all that changed, you need to travel miles to work, by private transport, if you are lucky enough to have a job, which is usually non productive ie you no longer make anything or supply anything. We replace as opposed to repairing and we now want to travel far afield to have holidays from which the majority learn nothing. Growing up we never threw anything out that could be repaired or reused in some way.
