What comics did you read as a kid
I have a theory
And would like to see if it holds water
I read marvel and DC comics and my collection numbered in the thousands

Read more Spider-Man than anything else, also a number of the classic Batman books. Other than that, mainly comics where I read one and never picked the series up again.

No joke! Too bad the most recent one with Andrew Garfield wasn't as good as the Tobey Maguire ones (first two, especially the second). I do like that Spidey's webbing is back to artificial though, staying true to the book

Re: comics
Parents used to buy me 'Girl', I used to chuck it away and read my brother's Eagle. Occasional Beano or Dandy, but wasn't really interested in comics, preferred books and radio, but then there were some amazing radio programmes, The Goons etc

Re: comics
My parents bought me books sometimes but never comics or magazines. To be honest they couldn't afford to. Always loved reading, from very young. I'd read anything I could get my hands on.

Well, he was born 1971, so much have gone on for a bit. He never was a big reader, but he liked Roy of the Rovers.

I also liked Patty's World, but I think that was in Girl or another comic.
