Sarah Champion forced out of Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet after warning Pakistani men are raping white girls

Jeremy Corbyn has forced one of his senior ministers to resign after she claimed that some Pakistani men groom and rape young white girls, it has emerged.

Sarah Champion, the Labour MP for Rotherham and former shadow secretary of state for women and equalities, was asked to resign after writing an article in The Sun newspaper warning that more must be done to stop gangs of Pakistani men targeting young girls for sex.

Issuing a desperate plea she called on the Government to investigate why so many men who share the same cultural background are behind bars for abusing young girls.

But following the Labour leader's demand Ms Champion stepped down from Mr Corbyn's top team.

A spokesman for Mr Corbyn confirmed he requested she leave his top team, adding that it was not appropriate for Ms Champion to have suggested that Pakistani men are largely responsible for the grooming and rape of young white girls.

It reads for itself. Corbyn just trying to bury the obvious. He should hang his head in shame, not tell
Ms Champion to leave the party.

We need MP's like her to speak out. This is how these Pakistanis got away with this for so long.

She was 100% right of course, and being an mp in the heart of one of the towns where these gangs have operated for years she knows exactly what she said is correct.
What a shame she apologised, though the real shame should be shouldered by Corbyn, who obviously prefers to go along with the cover up, which enabled these animals to carry on with their vile abuse of young kids for years.

Why is it 'not appropriate' for her to state the truth...!?

Because he needs their support...and her alienating any future labour voters cant be allowed..
Obviously his career comes before the continued rape, abuse and grooming of underage vulnerable kids by Pakistani Muslim gangs.

She told the BBC's Newsnight programme: "She has been punished and used as a scapegoat because as a politician she's an easy target", adding that Labour should not have forced her into silence.

Ms Lone later tweeted: "Sarah Champion was talking about a particular type of grooming which is carried by men because of their cultural/religious practices.

Why should she apologise. She was speaking the truth, a truth Corbyn and his minions would rather push under the carpet.

So what is wrong with her speaking the truth in what is still a very current and ongoing serious problem, where children are being raped and abused...!?

one of the survivors of this spoke on radio today saying that there was absolutely nothing wrong with what she had said....it was all the truth

I will post again the list of UK towns and cities where the gangs of mainly Pakistani Muslim men have been  found guilty of grooming, raping and prostituting young white girls.

Rotherham, the town where Sarah Champion was an MP is listed amongst them.

Jeremy Corbyn is as guilty as all the other liars who pretended... and are still pretending this isn't still happening.

You made a good point before though.
The people who remain silent when they know of the abuse, are no better than the many who remained silent when Saville and his cronies were free to abuse for decades...many knew and so few spoke out, and the ones who did were hushed up by the police, politicians, and what is laughingly called the "establishment"

Seems few lessons have been learned...people are still trying to silence others who speak out truthflly, as Corbyn is now trying to silence Sarah Champion.

I think he is a phony.
He first came to national popularity by using a speech written for and rejected by someone else...making the words and thoughts out to be his own, and imo he has continued playing a game, I don't actually believe he believes the stuff he says himself.
He may be promoting a different party but he is as much a man of the people as Thatcher was.

I have just attended training about recognising and dealing with Child Sexual Exploitation and Child Criminal Exploitation in all its forms and even though Rochdale Rotherham etc were discussed in detail, the word Pakistani was not used once.

I agree with the phony bit. He made promises to students saying he'd wipe the backlog of fees etc, such lies as that would be impossible. Where did he think the money was coming from. It was to get the youngsters vote, now there turned on him. Also he voted for Brexit too.

Sarah Champion, the sacked Labour MP who warned Pakistani gangs are raping white girls, has vowed to keep standing up for victims despite losing her job in Jeremy Corbyn's senior team.

The MP for Rotherham sparked a row after claiming there is a cultural element to sexual abuse in many cases, which resulted in her being forced to stand down by Mr Corbyn.

It isn't only the fact that many of the girls were underage, they were white, and they were passed round the communities, families and friends, of Pakistani Muslim men.
