Thieves have apparently taken inspiration from the 'Home Alone 2' film to hide as mannequins when the store was closing up for the night.
Staff reckon that's the only way they could have avoided detection, the alarm only activated when they fled the store with £10,000 of designer gear.
The spokesperson for Beales store in West Sussex said the thieves must have dressed in clothes similar to the mannequins to avoid detection.

Beales department stores have now issued senior staff with large hat pins for that very reason Nicko.

Stealing is wrong, no one would agree that shoplifting or nicking designer clothes from a department store is right.
But whoever plotted this little haul has imagination that's for sure.
I can just imagine them standing completely still next to the mannequins whilst the shop does it's final check before closing. Cool
