Playing with names & words Empty Playing with names & words

Post by stardesk Fri Oct 07, 2016 2:58 pm

Hi gang. I'm getting fedup with being controversial and critical, etc. As I've been writing for many years I've come to enjoy playing with names and words, hence this topic, so, here goes: A lady bird watcher says to hubbY 'I say dear, look at that Bluetit.' And a big grin crosses his face as he spies through the trees a topless woman on the beach as a freezing wind suddenly blows across from the sea.

Can you come up with anything to make us laugh? 'I can,' said Ivan Ardon to his girl friend Nicky Nunnon.

Over to you folks.

You mean like 'Tom Swifties'?

"'Bring the prisoner downstairs,' said Tom condescendingly."

"'I find you guilty,' said the judge with conviction."

"'Now I have the tools to chop down that tree,' said Tom with a heavy accent."

"'It's a unit of electric current,' said Tom amply."

"'Someday I'll run the CIA,' said Tom aspiringly."

"'There's room for one more,' Tom admitted."

"'I wonder why the hive's still empty,' said Tom belatedly."

"'I've got to stop this motor,' Tom choked."

"'We're off to Scotland,' said Tom clandestinely."

Ivanna Trump has never been able to shout out her name in polite society.
(Or even in impolite society for that matter).
It tends to scatter crowds .... for some unknown reason. What a Face

P'raps if you changed Teresa to Raine that might work better??
Raine is a valid name, it was the name of Princess Di's step mum.

I'm pleased to see my idea has brought a good response. 'Well done' said the Chef.

Then there was the wealthy guy named Robin Banks.
