Well over 11000 have now signed a petition for the organisers of the Miss Great Britain competition to reinstate Zara Holland as Miss GB 2016.
She was sacked after having sex on the ITV show 'Love Island'.
Pageant organisers have said they can no longer promote her as a positive role model.

Yes, it was probably the best scoop they have had this year.

I do think anyone who wears a crown representing their country has some sort of responsibility though. She was Miss GB, so whilst she had that 'honour' she should have acted with some degree of decency.

After that if she wants to act like a slapper for the enjoyment of thousands of strangers that's her prerogative.

I always wonder how these people on TV can ever actually enjoy sex whilst being filmed.

How many other job roles would you lose your job for even actively posting up clips having sex with people?
Its not against the law to do so, and if it was not televised it would have been having sex in private.
So on every aspect she is being both deemed as committing a criminal offense simply for enjoying sex.
I also think that people clearly may not have had great sex, as there is nothing more beatiful, when having great sex with someone you love. as how often do women glow after sex?

So you are placing a boundary in regards to sexual decency and if the prudes organisors of Miss world think this is wrong, then they are also sending out the wrong kind of message as well. That they have passed judged ruled and passed sentence with no chance of even challenging this decision. You may welll think its wrong based on your principles Syl in regards to decency, but what they did was based more off their own image, than rather exaplain to her, this is not in the best interest for a Miss world to act and thus warn her.

It was over the top their reaction and even more so in this day and age when western society is very sexually liberated. You will find that the vast majority of species hump away in plain sight of everyone, as once also humans did too. You see people allow something to become a base point on decency, when there is nothing indecent when two consenting adults enjoy sex with each other.

Again you keep claiming indecency, based on no sound reasoning, as if sex is a shameful act in itself, to be performed before preying eyes. You then state again something even more objective about the public, where the only reason it is. Is based on shielding childrens eyes from something they of yet do not fully understand. That is the only aspect as to why it is banned, as other wise there simply would be no valid reason and being as this is viwed after the watershed of 9pm, it was not breaking the rules of the watershed time. Again this was in a private place and only becasue they are part of the program was it recorded. So there is nothing indecent about public sex if there is no children around. So only those who are adults t that should have ben able to watch this. If parents allow their children to watch after the watershed or online, then they are responsible. So she in fact did nothing wrong. There is zero indecency around having sex. This simply has formed over time based on a variety of reasons, but as I say the only real and valid reason is to shield such acts from being viewed by children. If people humb in a club or after the club, the reality is the Police will not even arrest them, as again it is late when children are not about.

Like I say, such a stance by the organisors is in fact then based off this deeming the actual act of sex as indecent, which to me lacks any validity

The sex act isn't shameful, doing it in public is though.

On TV its obviously different, the law may not have been broken here but her contract was. This woman knew the rules and terms of her contract.
You may not agree with them, but she did, and she was happy to abide by them which enabled her to enter Miss GB and win....sadly she didn't keep her contract and they were entitled to de-throne her.

As i say, the laws only have any form of validty based around protecting children.
If you can view other animals having sex, then to claim humans having sex is so traumatic to see, then as seen such reasoning is flawed
So then its about boundaries where people can have sex, but in no way, is seeing people have sex somehow indecent, as that is basdically saying that the act of sex itself is indecent. No matter if even partially clothed. as it is the act itself in public that is deemed a criminal offence. Even nudity is in this day and age, absurd, as people themselves sexualize body parts, that again denies people if they so chose to walk around freely naked. Again there is only one valid reason that sex is outlawed in public, to protect children. The view to claim something is indecent, where when you look at the origin of the word. It was formed in latin, so its of no surpise that we see again religion leaving its stamp on society, making people wrong think that the act of sex is in someway bad, when it is not.

So yesy we will have to agree to disagree, where again, she never even had sex in public, and its the media outlet that made the clips available. So they really had no right to do what they did.
