If I had had a baby girl I would have named her Lisa (it was all picked out when I was pregnant) I had a boy though.

I still quite like the name Lisa.
For a boy I would now pick Brian....one in memory of someone and two cos it never seems to date.

I love the two names I picked for my children.
I have always liked the names Serena and Harriet for a girl and Max and Elliiot for boys.

Cat names: Colin and Onion (dint have cats but they're good names)

Dog names: love Clover for a Beagle but I'm calling my retired greyhound Tiggy

Remember what the best way to pick out a name for a stripper or lap dancer is?

The name of your first pet and the name of your first street or Rd.....it can throw out some good names.

Trouble is Syl, with a nice name like Lisa one day she will sail (anagram of Lisa) away and break your heart, little girls do.
When out little girl left to marry I was beside myself, she is 46 now.
Not so bad with a lad, he followed me with boxing but kept getting hit so he went to karate and West Midlands champ.
I named both ours with agreement of mummy, obviously.
Nowadays I like Julie and Sam.
My old man wanted ours named Matilda and Albert, I would have given in but wife sorted the old bugga out, they were best mates.

With little girls they grow up to be friends if you are lucky, so you never really lose them.
I would have loved one of each....not to be though, and now I have grandsons....no little girls to cuddle.....but I would not change a thing.

I have one of each and consider myself lucky but after three miscarriages,(in between son and daughter) I'd have been happy with another boy.

I cannot believe the magnificent choice of clothes for little girls which are on sale all over the place nowadays, Syl, we were talking about this today.
We are always buying something for the littlunz, I enjoy it more than they do receiving them. lol
