Court hears two underqualified doctors watched as a previously healthy young woman lay dying without taking the basic steps that could have saved he.
Two underqualified doctors watched as a previously healthy young woman lay dying without taking the basic steps that could have saved her life, a court has heard.The men are accused of being responsible for the “totally unexpected and avoidable” death of Frances Cappuccini, a primary schoolteacher, shortly after she gave birth to her second child.
Errol Cornish, a consultant anaesthetist, and his colleague Dr Nadeem Azeez were accused of causing the death of Mrs Cappuccini as a result of exhibiting gross negligence during their care and treatment of the 30-year-old in October 2012.

Shouldn't the hospital have checked their qualifications? One of them was a consultant!
