An American tourist's Facebook post about the cultural differences between England and America has gone viral and it'll make you proud to be English.

Scott Waters, a 66-year-old from St Augustine, Florida, was visiting England for the fourth time when he decided to list all the differences he encountered during his time over here. The brilliant post has since been liked over 90,000 times.

Granted, it's a bit long-winded, but bear with it, it's worth the read. From every pub having a pet drunk to our tea being f*cking delicious, he's got the country absolutely spot on. Maybe apart from the trains bit - that's bullsh*t.

Meh...you could do the same thing with New York...fuggedaboutit. Lol.

Some things I question: Londoners smoke like chimneys. French beer is good. Mutual drink buyers are alcoholics. Pressed coffee in the drawing room of the Draycott Hotel on a summer morning, open windows bringing in the warm garden scents, is delicious.

But it's fun.

we steal the best bits so we have great tea (England plus China)and great coffee, drinking habits are more in line with the UK (we probably serve it at same temp... Icy cold ... a.k.a English summer)
