Genocide of the Christians Martyrs Sick ISIS CRUCIFY thousands in Syria

We realise that many readers will find this image shocking, but feel it is vital to show the true horror of ISIS. And now a Jewish survivor of Nazi terror is leading the crusade to rescue the Christian Martyrs.

IT WAS only when the gates of the Nazi death camps were thrown open that the industrial scale of Hitler’s killing became known.

Western diplomats had received scattered information about Nazi massacres of Jewish people and “undesirables” in occupied Poland and Russia but it was difficult to confirm.

Yet just 70 years since the end of the Second World War, a genocide is taking place once again, this time against Christians.

Scores have already been murdered by Islamic State and thousands forced to leave ancient Christian communities in northeastern Syria and western Iraq as the extremists demand they either convert to Islam, pay an extortionate rate of tax or face execution.

Some have even been crucified.

How are the Christians stuck there when the rest have fled to Europe also .

A number of Christians in Syria are deciding to stay behind and heed what they say is God's call to reach out to their Muslim neighbors despite the violent attacks against them, persecution watchdog group Open Doors USA has shared.

"There are some Christians who are fleeing because they have no other choice, but there are many Christians who have really felt God's call to stay in town, even though they have been attacked and targeted because of their faith. They realize that God's using them, and (are reaching) out to their Muslim neighbors," Emily Fuentes, PR and Communications Coordinator at Open Doors USA, shared with The Christian Post in a phone interview on Friday.

I think a lot of them have left - according to that article. Perhaps the rest haven't tried to leave. It says they prefer to live in church halls.

Right, so nobody can rescue them by helping them to leave the region. The alternative is defend them physically by sending troops I guess. That's not going to happen.

If we take any refugees it should be those most in danger, Christians and other religious minorities.

There is a war going on.  In any war there are atrocities that shock the conscience.  There is nothing unique about Christians and victimization due to war.

This is yet another reason not to start wars, or get involved in any ongoing conflicts.  Let them sort it out.

Certainly not without arms. The big problem there is that there are too many factions. There's Bashar al-Assad, president of Syria. Then there's ISIL, the old al Qaeda of Iraq, and before that, the Baath Party minions of Saddam Hussein. Then there are the Kurds, who would be opposed by Turkey were they ever to declare themselves independent.

Finally, there is the Shi'ite government of Iraq, led by President Fuad Masum and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. Then, there is Iran, which would come to the aid of the Shi'ite government of Iraq anytime it was in trouble.

Pick a side, if you wish.

yes it is , and it takes courage to that , I dare say there are both moslems and christians sticking together . Its the natural thing to when we face danger we generally don't give a hoot what religion people are , our first thoughts are to help .

there is division even then, those that back Assad and those that don't. the reality is there are a probably a dozen groups each with it own cause and while most if not all seem to hate ISIS, they still hate each other to varying degrees.

The other issue is ISIS moved quickly to secure most of the weaponry left by the US are the Iraq invasion. The only ones on the ground with the weaponry to realistically fight back are Assad and the Kurds  (and they will never ally)
