Everything is coming out of my attic, and nothing else is going up there. The only thing I'll leave is the Christmas stuff, and that's it! I cleared out a lot of stuff from there a couple of years ago, so how come it's still full of stuff?????

Did he notice that those are men's shoes in that transparent bin?
Um...they have invented yard sales, ya know.
Nevertheless, funny...

We call e'm Boot sales Quill, items sold from the boot of a car. I used to go round them early and buy bargains to sell at a profit on the "Boot" myself. Best bargain I had was an Oil Painting of "The Monarch of the Glen" a beautiful painting of a Stag. Bought for £20 , sold at Auction for £890 !Have sold lots of items for a good profit. Have you done anything like that ?

Absolutely...garage sales, driveway sales, flea market sales. They are wonderful. Have to get there early, tho.
Great Granpa's stuff is in there too, only no one knows what there is in there. I once bought a New York Martin 00-21 guitar (circa 1910) for $60, and sold it back to The Martin Company for a fortune plus a new one. They wanted it for their museum.

I don't think I could be bothered with a car boot sale. Donating is good as long as I don't have to take stuff to an actual shop. My nearest clothes bank was full last time I went - everyone had the same idea.

You should try it at least once Raggs, load up your stuff, put a Paste Table on top and head out. You meet lots of people, get rid of your rubbish, [you'd be surprised what people buy} and you'v got a few quid to spend !
