Some of Prime Minister Tony Abbott's most controversial speeches have been brushed from Coalition history since the election, including a 2009 speech backing a carbon tax, and a 2004 speech in which he describes abortion as ''a question of the mother's convenience''.
But thankfully the Liberal Party STILL does not unders stand this darn Internet thingy

Abbott’s 2009 speech on climate change from the Pandora archive.
Just to prove that despite the claims made by some lazy journalist it has not ‘disappeared’.

Here’s the Pandora search page so you can do your own ‘Tony Abbott’ search. http://pandora.nla.gov.au/
And just in case the national Archives are raided by MiniTru, here’s another way to get to Abbott’s words of wisdom. http://greenshack.info/index.php/abbottonia/abbott-speeches-dead-buried-resurrected.html
My big concern about this is that they think they can get away with airbrushing history coz the winners write the history. don’t they?, well not anymore. Credlin and the rest of them are still in ‘opposition mode’, penny hasn’t dropped about scrutiny when in Govt. Even the ambulance chaser journos are a wake up to this mob.

Politicians really don't get it, do they? I can't wait for a generation of them that has grown up with the Internet and knows they can't whitewash their records.
