I certainly do not like Trump, but this is appalling behaviour by the Democrat

Rep. Elise Stefanik (RR, NY) is part of the Russo-Republican hit team, avoiding the plain truth of the President's criminality, and focusing on process.  Look over there; don't look over here.  The plan was to flood the beginning of the hearing with a bunch of 'points-of-order' so as to avoid getting to the raw facts of Trump's embezzlement (of taxpayer's money), and bribery of a foreign head-of-state.

Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D, CA) made quick work of these shenanigans by strictly following the rules that had been laid down by the majority.  Stefanik was originally brought in by the Russo-Republicans because Ambassador Yovanovitch is a gentlewoman, and they wanted to get 'ham-handed' Rep. Jim Jordan (RR, OH) out of there while dealing with a person of such grace.  He's bad optics.  Now, however, the Russo-Republicans want to treat Stefanik as the fawn-eyed victim.  Not so fast, Tonto...

Recalling back to days when Republicans wanted to crucify Secretary Hilary Clinton for false allegations over Benghazi or servers, I have little sympathy.  The concrete-vigana'd Stefanik is tough enough, and she can take it.  You shouldn't run with the big dogs if you can’t pee in the tall grass.
