I'm afraid I have to agree with Fred, these pop ups have totally ruined my enjoyment of a very good Forum just because of the greed of one man ! It appears that he doesn't give a shit about it either . I have had no apology, or indeed any sign that he will try to put it right. I may follow Fred's post and bugger off till it's put right, it's been nice knowing you all !

Try downloading the Firefox browser and use it to go on the internet...

You can also install a free ad blocking tool for it...

Also... when you get to the newsfix site, change your site cookie settings so that most or all are disallowed...

There are other free ad blocking bits of software that you could try out too... search on Google for them and give some a try...

I hope it's sorted out soon, Fred and Nicko are good posters, and I know how frustrating it is when you get constant ads that block half the page and wont go even when you click on the x.

It's not affecting me so far, the opposite in fact on the tablet where I have no ad blocker.

I still swear by standard adguard on the laptop though.
